A turtle gliding past. A flash of colour in the coral. There is as much joy in slowing down as there is in the encounter.

Good to know

We meet at Royal Beach Hotel & Resort in Dibba, Fujairah. This is on the UAE's east coast. The experience takes place in Dibba, not at Snoopy Island.
No. Staying at the hotel is optional. Many guests join for the day and drive home.
If we cancel due to dangerous weather, you’ll be offered a reschedule or a refund.
No. Jono is an underwater photographer, not a swimming instructor. You must already be able to swim confidently and completely unassisted to take part. Swimming lessons are not provided. This applies to both shared and private experiences.
You don’t need to be an Olympic swimmer, but you should be comfortable in open water and able to swim unassisted. Basic swimming skills are enough, and we’ve had confident five-year-olds join with a parent. If you’re nervous, we can provide a life jacket.
Life jackets do not replace the need to swim completely unassisted.
Children are very welcome, and there’s no fixed minimum age. To join us in the water, they must be able to swim unassisted and have a responsible adult in the water with them. If your child is six or younger, please speak with Jono before booking so he can help your family make the most of the day.
Non-swimmers can join you for the day but not in the water. If they’d like to join the boat trip too, please discuss this with Jono in advance.
Across just over 100 bookings, we’ve seen turtles on every trip so far. Turtles are wild animals, so sightings can’t be guaranteed.
Allow approximately three hours for the briefing, in-water photography, rest and boat portion. Your resort day access lets you enjoy the beach afterwards.

Yes. Both shared and private experiences include professional underwater photographs, personally taken by Jono Greenway.
You’ll receive your edited, high-resolution images via a WeTransfer link within seven days of your experience. Anyone with the link can view and download them.
Delivery within 24 hours of your experience is available as an optional paid add-on. Please request it when booking.
No. Only edited images are available.
Absolutely, Jono used to be a wedding photographer and loves helping with proposals or other special occasions. Let Jono know what you’re planning when you enquire, and he’ll help arrange your private experience.
After you enquire, we’ll send a live booking calendar so you can see the soonest available dates. Sometimes that’s within two days, sometimes two to three weeks, depending on availability.
No. An enquiry starts the conversation about suitable dates, your group and the available options. Jono will guide you through the booking steps. Only proceed with a booking once your experience details are agreed.
Please arrive at the agreed time.
For private bookings, we’ll wait, but your original end time still applies, and we’ll help you make the most of the remaining time.
For shared trips, we can’t hold the group. If you arrive after we’ve started, you won’t be able to join, and there’s no refund.
If you cancel 72 hours or more before your booking date, you’ll receive a full refund. At 48 hours before your booking date, you’ll receive a 50% refund. At 24 hours or less, no refund is available.
Booking essentials
Key conditions for your experience. Please also review the full terms provided with your booking.
Everyone entering the water must be able to swim confidently and completely unassisted. This applies to shared and private experiences. Swimming lessons are not provided. Life jackets do not replace this requirement. All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult; a responsible adult must remain in the water with children.
No touching, chasing, feeding, or harassing marine life. Follow Jono’s instructions and keep clear of coral. We work with nature and sightings and underwater visibility can vary by season, tides, and weather, even from hour to hour, so they’re not guaranteed. Unsafe behaviour, wildlife harassment, or misrepresenting your swimming ability may result in removal from the water without a refund.
Bring an original Emirates ID or passport for the boat check-in. Please arrive at the agreed time.
For private bookings, we’ll wait, but your original end time still applies, and we’ll help you make the most of the remaining time.

We work with nature, not against it, and nature wins every time. Ocean conditions and visibility aren’t guaranteed and can change quickly, even hourly. We track forecasts and if conditions become dangerous or undiveable, we’ll reschedule or refund. Otherwise, follow Jono’s instructions and take care in the water.
Light rain alone does not automatically mean cancellation. An experience may go ahead only when we deem the overall weather and sea conditions safe.
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date; your booking is confirmed only once completed online. Trip times are fixed because they’re planned around tides, currents, and turtle locations. We can’t change timings, including for private bookings.
You confirm that you’re medically fit to swim in open water and will tell us about any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that could affect your safety or require adjustments.
Treat any gear we provide with care. You’ll be charged for any loss or unnecessary damage to equipment beyond normal wear.
If you take photos or video on your own devices, you’re responsible for how you use them. Please don’t film or post other people without their permission. We aren’t responsible for how you record or share content.
We provide edited images only. RAW files aren’t delivered.
Bookings are non-transferable without our written consent.
Gift cards aren’t refundable and can’t be exchanged for cash.
You acknowledge that open-water snorkeling involves inherent risks including currents, waves, boats, marine life, and changing visibility, and you accept these risks before participating.
We’ve adopted a “sharing is caring” approach. Most of our guests enjoy sharing moments from their experience, and we love sharing our own photos and videos, as well as re-posting guests’ content, on Instagram and other social media.
If you’d prefer us not to share any content featuring you, please let us know on WhatsApp in advance. If you see anything we’ve shared that you’d like removed, message us and we’ll happily take it down immediately from our own channels.
We don’t control or take responsibility for content independently posted by other guests on their own social media accounts. If you’re joining a shared experience and don’t want content featuring you shared, please tell the other members of your group in advance. For removal requests, please contact the account holder directly.
